Pre-Smicha

In 2017 the pre semicha program was created for bochrim to learn the halachik methodology. Following the same principles as the Semicha program, the pre semicha bochrim get a chance to learn halacha in depth and cover sections of Shulchan Aruch that effect their daily lives. Starting with hilchos tefilla we explore the issues within minyonim and the running of a minyan, followed by tvillas keilim, mezuza and culminating in the halachos of cooking on shabbos. The last month of the zman is dedicated to covering the concepts and Gemoras that will be used for the Semicha year.
